Washington, DC - June 9, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) — Congressman Travis Childers (D-MS) announced that the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) will now allow homebuyers to apply the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act's $8,000 first-time homebuyer tax credit toward the purchase costs of a FHA-insured home. This will help stabilize North Mississippi's and the nation's housing market by stimulating home sales across the country.
